“Chiropractic care is based on a very simple principle: the body is a self-healing organism.”
B.J. Palmer

Chiropractic
What it is
Chiropractic care is dedicated primarily to the well-being of the individual by promoting the optimal functioning of the nervous system that controls every function of our body.

Chiropractic
What it deals with
Chiropractic treats the maintenance of body balance through the nervous system, preventing and correcting spinal subluxations that interfere with nerve signals, causing dysfunction and disease.

Chiropractic
Who needs it
Chiropractic care is useful for all ages, from infants to the elderly, relieving problems such as colic in the newborn, poor posture, back pain, and sciatica in pregnancy, improving mobility and reducing pain.

Massimo Colleoni
Since when I was a child I have been fascinated by the Healing Arts. This probably happened because from an early age I had to face health problems that not only exposed me to allopathic medicine but also to various types of complementary therapies that my mother used when the main stream approaches would fail to help me.
After finishing my training as an industrial chemist in Italy I worked for the Mario Negri Institute in cancer research and then as an industrial chemist for 3 years.
In those years I realised that that wasn’t the life I wanted. I aspired to broader my horizons and have more fulfilling experiences that would allow me to work internationally and in the medical field. I therefore decided to leave for England.
Some examples
What does chiropractic care
Cervicalgia
The cervical spine is critical for neurological signals and brain support.
Neck problems result from trauma and poor posture due to electronic devices.
Whiplash
It occurs not only in traffic accidents, but also in sports such as rugby, boxing and basketball, where the neck undergoes violent movements, causing injury to the muscles and ligaments of the cervical spine.
Herniated disc
The spine is composed of vertebrae connected by joints and intervertebral discs, which provide movement and cushioning.
Incorrect alignment can cause herniated discs, with leakage of internal material that can compress the spinal cord and nerves.
Lumbago
About 85% of the Western population will suffer from low back pain in their lifetime, mainly due to mechanical causes.
Factors such as poor posture, repetitive movements, emotional stress and aging contribute to these pains.
Headache
Headaches are classified into primary and secondary.
Primary, 95 percent of cases, include migraine, muscle-tensive, and cluster headaches.
Secondary ones result from other causes such as sinusitis, medications, meningitis, trauma, tumors, and cervical problems.
Shoulder pain
The shoulder is a complex joint that balances mobility and stability through the cooperation of three main joints and two pseudo-joints, controlled by 23 muscles.
Biomechanical problems of the spine can affect the shoulder, causing incorrect movements and microtrauma.
